One of the main things about my job is doing and maintaining a lot of important things for a lot of important people and businesses/organizations. That doesn’t necessarily make me an important person.

What makes me important, or rather places importance upon my mere existence is what I do when I’m not working — being a dad. If you know my story about how I got where I am now, then you know that I quit the traditional 9-5 world to freelance full-time, as well as stay at home with our then-newborn daughter, Addy Kate. Well she’s just recently turned 4 and I’ve managed to not completely lose control of the stay-at-home situation.

Cue next child. On August 6, 2017 (our wedding anniversary), we welcomed Lucy Caroline, our second daughter, into the world. So I now have two assistants. And my role is now twice as important.
